Senior Software Engineer
Digital Agronomy. Embedded in a React Native monorepo with 60+ modules and 110+ contributors.
- Owned four Expo SDK upgrades, 53 to 57. Ran the last three as a staged program: housekeeping, tooling alignment, an audio library migration, the SDK bump, and type-checking fixes. Diagnosed and fixed the native crashes the program exposed, including a launch crash on a new major iOS release.
- Diagnosed test suites exhausting memory both in CI and locally, then made worker and memory limits adaptive. Cut infrastructure-related CI test failures by roughly 93 percent and median pull-request test time from about 16 minutes to about 5.
- Chosen as one of four engineers for a cross-team performance Tiger Team. Advised against porting AI-generated specs, co-wrote the plan the team worked from, and shipped both list virtualization and React Compiler.
- Built agronomy workflow features on web and mobile, including soil sampling validation and sampler-chosen points. Added fields created from imported site geometry and a recommendation form on live GraphQL.
- Reviewed 146 pull requests while authoring 93, and ranked among the monorepo’s top contributors by commits.
